A three-storey private home in Bharatpur with earthquake-resistant RCC framing and passive cooling for the Terai climate.

Reliable handled structural design, municipal drawing approval and full-time site supervision for this 2,600 sq ft family home near the Narayani river. The brief asked for cross-ventilation without air conditioning, so the plan runs east-west with deep verandahs and a stack-vented stair core. Foundations were designed for the area's soft alluvial soil after a plate load test on site.
